Product Description

The Proface GP-4503T is a Proface Xycom (now Schneider Electric) touch panel HMI.  This unit has a rated DC24V input voltage with an input voltage limit between 19.2 and 28.8 volts.   The GP-4503T has an allowable voltage drop of 10 ms or less and has a power consumption of 17 watts max.    This unit may also be listed or sold as Proface PFXGP4503TAD.

This HMI touch panel uses natural air circulation cooling.  Mount in locations free from corrosive gases where the surrounding air temperature remains between zero to 55 degrees Celsius in 10 to 90% relative humidity, non-condensing.   This unit is not recommended for use above 2,000 meters as air pressure tends to be out of range for this unit.  

The GP-4503T has a replaceable lithium battery located in its rear panel. The unit is built with a single SD card slot, two COM ports (RS-232C and RS-422/485), an Ethernet port, and two USB ports.  One USB is a Type-A while the other is a mini-B.    The GP-4503T is built with an analog resistive film touch screen.  The unit has sixteen brightness and contrast levels.  These can be adjusted through the touch panel.  Backup memory is limited to 321 kb SRAM with a backup battery (replaceable).   The unit has an additional 32 MB of Flash EPROM memory.
