Product Description

The LK-G152 module is a sensor head that was developed by KEYENCE to be a part of their LK-G3000 series of cameras and related equipment. The LK-G152 sensor head continues to be stocked at AX Control. 

The LK-G152 module is a long distance, small spot sensor head. It has a measuring range of 5.91 inches +/- 1.57 inches (150 millimeters +/- 40 millimeters). This particular sensor head has a repeatability of 0.5 µm and a spot diameter of 120 µm. The LK-G152 sensor head can be switched between diffused reflection and specular reflection mounting mode. With the diffused reflection mounting mode, the reference distance is set to be 5.91 inches and the measuring range is set to be +/-1.57 inches. The specular reflection mounting mode has a reference distance of 5.81 inches and a measuring range of +/-1.54 inches. The LK-G152 sensor head uses a Class II red semiconductor laser that has a wavelength of 650 nm and a maximum output of 0.95 mW. The LK-G152 sensor head has a linearity of +/-0.05% of F.S. Lastly, it is made up of an aluminum die-cast material.

The LK-G152 sensor head can be connected to a KEYENCE controller, which in turn will be connected to a PC, PLC, or a data recorder. The controller can have a display panel and a separate controller connected to it.

The LK-G152 sensor head has a weight of about 0.63 lbs. or 0.29 kg., including its cable, without considering any of AX Control’s packaging materials included to the total.
