About the MM300_Rack
The MM300_Rack is a base unit of the General Electric Multilin MM300 Motor Management System. It is designed for modular motor protection in low-voltage motor applications and has a small footprint.
The MM300_Rack has the following features:
-
The unit supports both panel mounting (using self-tap screws) and DIN rail mounting
-
The MM300_Rack is composed of a power supply, a CPU, and two I/O modules
-
Its capabilities can be expanded by adding optional expansion modules
-
The power rating is 80 to 250 VDC standard or 60 to 300 VAC
-
While it does not include USB ports, it can connect to standard DeviceNet ModBus Slave (10/100) using a TCP suite
-
The module features two 10 amp form A relays and six digital inputs (requiring 60-300 VAC)
-
It also includes an RS-485 communication interface
MM300_Racks provide thermal protection, integrating stator and rotor heating into a single model. Thermal modeling considers unbalance current biasing, hot and cold biasing, RTD biasing, and overload protection. The unit also accounts for the cooling rate of heat dissipation
