The IC620CBL002 cable can be used for a wide range of different tasks. For instance, you will commonly use this cable for transferring a program either to or from a computer. This is done by connecting the IC620CBL002 cable to a handheld programmer and the computer. The IC620CBL002 cable is meant to connect to the port on the top part of the handheld programmer unit. The port that the IC620CBL002 cable connects with your computer will vary based on the computer you have; however, be sure that the cable with the end nearest the label is connected with your computer. Be sure that the handheld programmer and your computer have been connected to the same input source.
You will also need to use the IC620CBL002 cable in the event that you need to transfer a program from a handheld programmer to another device (if you need to transfer a program to a handheld programmer from another device, you will need to use the IC620CBL001 cable, which you can find by following the link). To do this, connect the EPROM programmer and the handheld programmer using the IC620CBL002 cable using the ports on the tops of both devices. Connect the end of the cable that has the label close to it with the handheld programmer and the other end with the EPROM programmer. The EPROM programmer and the handheld programmer must be connected to the same input power source using 6V adapter cables.
