Product Description

The IS230TRLSH1B model was designed to work as an Input-Output Module. It can be used with the main control module in the Mark VI system as well as a backup protection module. If the TRLS module is being used in a triple architecture type application it will be used with the previously mentioned control module as well as the IONet and the main processor card. When this module is being connected to any type of rack, whether it be a twenty-one or thirteen-slot VME rack it will only take up one slot. 

The main visual components of the IS230TRLSH1B model vary and include but are not limited to metal oxide varistors, sub-D pin connectors, female plug connectors, and many more. During a visual inspection of this board, it can be seen that there are two I/O packs located on the board. These packs are labeled as discrete output packs and are connected through two of the sub-D pin connectors, these packs and connectors are located along one edge of the board, depending on how the board is being held it will either be located on the top or bottom of the board when held horizontally. On the opposite side of the board, there are also two terminal blocks which are labeled TB1 and TB2, these two terminals are located in close proximity to the metal oxide varistors for which there are seven. 

The IS230TRLSH1B model is attached to a DIN-rail component which allows for the model to be DIN-rail mounted. This component also has flanges that are oriented in an upward and downward direction.
