Product Description
The IS220PSFDH1A is a component made by GE as part of the Mark VI system. This functions as a Flame Detector Power Supply pack. It is convection cooled; it does not have any cooling fans. Its working temperature range is -30 degrees Celsius to +65 degrees Celsius.
The IS220PSFDH1A is housed within a rectangular enclosure. The front faceplate of this enclosure is marked with the component ID number, three diagnostic LEDs, and an IR port (infrared port.) This last component is not used. The LEDs are red (one,) and green (two and three.)
The IS220PSFDH1A provides power to the flame detector circuit on the TRPG (primary gas turbine trip protection board.) It does this through that board’s J3 through J5 connectors. The IS220PSFDH1A is usually mounted above the TRPG board on a sheet metal surface using mounting studs, mounting brackets, and a mounting plate.
The maximum input voltage of the IS220PSFDH1A is 29.4 V dc. Its startup time at full load (28 V dc) is 34 mS. Power consumption at full load is 4.1 W. The board’s maximum output voltage with no load and a 29.4 V dc input is 355 V dc. The pack has no hardware settings or jumper switches. The output voltage may be monitored locally through a differential pair of TP test points.
If more information on this pack is needed, users should refer to manuals, datasheets, or user guides published by General Electric. Technical support for this component and all other Mark VI parts was originally provided by the manufacturer.
