The IS215WEMAH1BA is a Wind Energy Main Cabinet “A” circuit board. This board is part of General Electric’s Mark VIe turbine control system and is designed for use with wind turbine control systems. The MKVIe is the most advanced Speedtronic system released by GE, offering scalable redundancy, integrated communication tools, shared I/O networks, and ruggedized systems for high performance even in extreme conditions and harsh environments.
The IS215WEMAH1BA board is part of the Wind Energy main converter control within ESS wind turbines. The unit is designed with 9 relay contact outputs, three solid-state relay outputs, two analog thermistor temperature sensor inputs, and 27 digital inputs. The board also has a transformer, jumper switches, plug connectors, fuses, a switch, and multiple heat sinks to help dissipate built-up heat on the board. An auxiliary board is mounted to the center of the primary board; this unit has additional components.
The IS215WEMAH1BA board is backward compatible with IS215WEMAH1A, which was placed into obsolete status by General Electric in the mid-2010s.
The IS215WEMAH1BA board is factory drilled along its edge and within the board’s body. Most of these holes are ringed with conductive material.
