Product Description

The IS215UCVGM09 is a Drive Local Area Network Plus (DLAN+) Card.  This card is designed to insert into the front faceplate of version G Controllers or the 3.3. VDC interface found on version H Controllers. On most controller cards this will install toward the bottom of the controller’s front faceplate.   The IS215UCVGM09 is a Mark VI component. The Mark VI series is part of GE’s Speedtronic line for gas/steam turbine management.

The IS215UCVGM09 has components on both surfaces of the board.  It has a small front faceplate that fits into the opening of the controllers it fits into. The component’s faceplate includes a single multi-pin connector and an ARCNET connector.  The faceplate connects to the board via two screw connections. These connectors are wired into the board. The board will be supported after installation by standoffs already installed on the surface of the motherboard.  The board has improved buffering capability for improved data rate. There is improved controller idle time. Higher receiver sensitivity and noise rejection improve data quality. This card is interchangeable physically and electrically with earlier DLAN+ modules.

The IS215UCVGM09 has multiple integrated circuits.  The board has a large yellow varistor component and two orange varistor components.  The board has multiple connectors created from conductive dots. The board has multiple vertical pin components.    Internal setup will occur when power is first applied to the DLAN+ card.
