Product Description

The IS200JPDFG1A is a GE component made as part of the Mark VI system. This system is part of the long-running Speedtronic series that was created and developed by General Electric for gas/steam turbine management.  The various systems that carried the Speedtronic name have been used for heavy-duty turbine management for over three decades. The Mark VI is one of the last of these systems to be released and includes Ethernet communications and an Operator Interface built on a Windows PC.  

The  IS200JPDFG1A is part of the IS2020JPDF power module, which consists of the circuit board, a sheet metal structure with a DC circuit breaker, an input filter, current limiting resistors, and series diode.   The IS200JPDFG1A provides connections for two DACA modules if desired. The IS200JPDFG1A board is used to distribute DC power to bulk DC. The IS200JPDFG1A uses ribbon cable connections for system feedback like dc bus voltage and ground fault detection through the PPDA board.

The  IS200JPDFG1A has six toggle switches placed in a single line.   Three of these include a caution label that states “Caution, After removing power, wait 30 sec. Before re-energizing.”  The IS200JPDFG1A has eighteen fuses with individual power ratings. It has fourteen plug connectors, including 2-position plugs (10,) 12-position plugs (2,) and a 9- and a 5- position plug.  

The  IS200JPDFG1A includes metal film resistors, box capacitors, ceramic capacitors, TP test points, and a transistor. Components are marked with reference designators.  More information about the board and its components can be found in GE publication GEI-100613.
