Product Description

The IS200EPSDG1AAB is a PCB component for the Mark VI series.  The Mark VI is a system manufactured by GE for the Speedtronic series, which has been in development and release from GE since the first Mark I Speedtronic system was released in 1969.  These gas and steam turbine management systems have become progressively more technologically advanced as GE integrated new breakthroughs into their next release.  The Mark VI includes Ethernet communications capability and is built with a PC-based operator interface that runs proprietary software specifically designed for heavy-duty turbine systems, like CIMPLICITY and the GE Control System Toolbox. 

The IS200EPSDG1AAB is a very small component that is designed to modify the power input path of the EPSM (Exciter Power Supply Module) to allow it to accept higher voltages.  The IS200EPSDG1AAB is also designed to provide a fuse between the buck-regulator and the regulator power source, or DC link.  The IS200EPSDG1AAB functions as an auxiliary or daughterboard for the EPSM card.  It is built with a single backplane, and a single high voltage fuse mounted via flame-resistant inline fuse holders.  The board mounts to the motherboard using four screws inserted into standoffs.  The screws are threaded through four factory-made holes in the EPSD board.  The board is marked with the GE logo and with its board ID number.
