About the IS200ESYSH1A

The IS200ESYSH1A model is part of the EX2100e Excitation Controller Series of Models produced by General Electric Industrial Systems. The functional acronym for this model is ESYS which stands for EX2100e System Interface Board for Customer I/O.

The IS200ESYSH1A is designed to handle all necessary input and output interfacing. This includes PT and CT inputs, general-purpose and trip relay outputs, analog inputs and outputs, as well as digital control inputs. These interfaces occur through terminal boards mounted on the ESYS board via their terminal strips, which offer terminal connections. These daughter boards are typically HSSL or HSLA boards.

The IS200ESYSH1A board itself has isolation transformers that take care of current measurements and generator voltage. The board can take care of two three-phase PT voltage inputs and two CT inputs. It can also manage analog inputs (4 to 20 mA or +/- 10 V.). Additionally, the board supports excitation contact I/Os and has two trip relay outputs that will drive a customer lockout device.

For more information regarding the IS200ESYSH1A and its uses, please refer to the documentation provided on our site like GEA-S1310A EX2100e Excitation Control 35 A and 120 A Regulator Systems User’s Guide. On page eight there is an EX2100e Regulator Dual Control System Block Diagram that details what the External IS200ESYSH1A model is connected to how and it functions.
