Product Description

Model IS200ESELH2A is part of the Exciter Selector Board parts produced by GE as part of the EX2100 series. The primary function of the IS200ESELH2A is to receive logic level pulse signals from the connected EMIO board, which will then send the pulse signals to up to six sets of cables that will distribute to exciter gate pulse amplifier (EGPA) boards to help with the gate-firing of SCRs. 

With this IS200ESELH2A it is the second group of the ESEL boards, as the second group to operate properly it contains three bridge drivers. When being used in connection with the EGPA boards and if there are redundant controllers within the power conversion cabinet then two ESEL boards will need to be used, one will be powered by the M1 and the other by M2, the most active ESEL which is selected by controller C will send all of the necessary signals to the attached EGPA boards.
