Product Description

The F31X187VCTACG1 is a PCB component manufactured by General Electric.  This board is designed as a component within the 531x series of boards and is used within GE general purpose drive systems like the DC-300 drive and other similar drives.  These drive systems are typically used in industrial applications. They are power, flexible drives that can be used in a variety of ways. Please refer to your manual or user guide to determine compatibility between this series of boards and your particular drive system.

The F31X187VCTACG1 is a Volt Current Transducer.  The board is marked with the above board number but is also marked with the code 531X187VCTADG1.  The board has a rectangular slot cut in the board near the top edge and a long, narrow slot cut along its middle.  There is a transformer that spans this narrow slot. It connects to the board using eight surface wires. Four of these are red, four are white.  

The  F31X187VCTACG1 has three terminal strips located on the board surface. Two of these are three-position terminal strips that are each placed in a corner of the board.  One is a nine-position terminal strip. This component is located parallel to the bottom edge of the board.   Next to this component, the board has four switch components placed in a single line. Each of these components has four toggles located on its top surface.   

The  F31X187VCTACG1 board has four potentiometers, two transistors, and eighteen jumper switches.  The board has two resistor networks. It also uses resistors (primarily made of metal film) and capacitors.  Integrated circuits are located in several places across the board.
