Product Description

The F31X174RCCADG1 PCB (printed circuit board) is a Ribbon Connector Board made by General Electric.   This board was sold by GE under this part number and also under its alternate 531X174RCCA part number.  The series of boards is no longer manufactured or sold by the OEM, but typically can be found within AX Control stock as either new surplus or refurbished units. 

The F31X174RCCADG1 is a small circuit board.  It weighs approximately 0.22 pounds before any packaging is added around the board to protect it during shipping.   This board is almost square and includes a conductive backplane on one edge made from thirty-two flat metal tabs that are used to help the board communicate with the larger system.   The board also has a 42-pin right-angle (male)  connector designed to plug in a ribbon connector. Close to this is a plastic clip to help hold the ribbon cable remain securely in place.  

The board is factory drilled to allow for mounting.  Other than the previously mentioned components, the board is empty except for electrical pathways that help signals travel between the backplane and the ribbon connector.
