531X306LCCBEM1--GE FANUC Drive Display Card

The 531X306LCCBEM1 is a GE Fanuc Drive Display printed circuit board component manufactured by GE to be a part of various general purpose drive systems released by the company.  This includes the GE AC300 and the DC300. While many of these may now be considered obsolete, these drives were considered dynamic and flexible when they were first released and were capable of use within industrial settings for a variety of uses.  

The 531X306LCCBEM1 is a medium-sized board.  The primary component on its surface is a sixteen-digit alpha-numeric display located near the top board edge.  The board has multiple connectors for communicating with other boards, including two male vertical pin cable connectors (one at the top of the board and one at the bottom,) one female cable connector, and a right-angled header connector that is also located along the bottom board edge.  

The components used on the 531X306LCCBEM1 include resistor network arrays, jumper switches, transistors, and integrated circuits.  ICs include a field programmable gate array. The board uses primarily polyester vinyl and ceramic capacitors, but also has capacitors of other materials.  Resistors are usually metal film.

The 531X306LCCBEM1has two edges marked with  numbers or letters for alignment. It has drill holes along the edges.  The board is marked with both a primary 531x and a secondary F31x number.   For information regarding installation procedures, please consult publications originally distributed by General Electric, like data sheets,  series user guides or drive manuals. GE was responsible for providing all original technical support for this and other 531x series PCBs.
