General Electric manufactured the 531X305NTBANG1 card to function as an NTB/3TB terminal board. This terminal board was developed as a member of the 531X series of replacement drive and exciter boards. A number of interfacing system features are provided by this board. Capabilities of the card include relay and serial outputs, analog I/O, power supplies, and encoders.
When this NTB/3TB terminal board is installed, it provides an array of functions to the drive. When installed 531X305NTBANG1 is capable of producing both regulated and unregulated power supplies. Regulated supplies rate at 5 VDC and 15 VDC while unregulated supplies can rate at 24 VDC or 125 VAC. Encoders rated at 5 V and 15 V can be configured using the onboard jumpers. The board also includes seven relay outputs that are comprised of either form A or form C outputs. Contacts within each relay have a rating of 120 VAC. Low level analog I/O can also be scaled using the four potentiometers found on board.
