Product Description

The 531X303MCPALG1 is a PCB fabricated and released by General Electric to be used as part of several of their older general purpose drive systems, including the DC-300 drive.  While older, these drives are powerful and flexible systems capable of performing a multitude of industrial tasks.

Several pieces of information are etched on the surface of the 531X303MCPALG1 board.  Included among these is the board number and its alternate board number of F31X303MCPAGG1.  Two edges are numbered and lettered to allow for alignment. The board carries codes like 003/05 and 006/06.  Each corner has been drilled through to give options for mounting the board.

The 531X303MCPALG1 is populated by six heat sinks.  These components dissipate heat from components more quickly to help the board maintain the proper operating temperature.  There are two LED indicators, both green, located near the center of the board.

The 531X303MCPALG1 has two vertical pin (male) cable connectors.  There are stab-on connectors (nine) placed usually along the board edges.  The board also uses header connectors. There are eight header connectors on the board’s surface.  There is also a line of terminal pin connections and a short terminal strip on the board.

The 531X303MCPALG1 has transformers, inductor coils, jumper switches, transistors, fuses of various size, voltage regulators, metal oxide varistors, resistor network arrays, and a potentiometer.  The board has various integrated circuits. Resistors and capacitors vary in the materials used.
