Product Description

The 531X301DCCBAG1 is a drive control board from General Electric.  It is one of many DCC drive control cards available for use within general-purpose drive systems manufactured by General Electric.  This is a FANUC part that was manufactured as part of an effort between Fuji and GE to create more reliable and lower-cost parts for manufacturing.  

The 531X301DCCBAG1 is a rectangular-shaped card that does not include a front faceplate.  It is different from the similar DCCA cards in that this board includes potentiometers along one edge that allow for adjustment.  The board also has multiple jumper switches for adjusting the board’s applications to desired settings. 

Other board components include over 80 ICs (integrated circuits.)  These function as analog decoder/drivers and operational amplifiers as well as other things.  The board includes FPGAs.  It has multiple vertical pin connectors for I/Os.  It also has several installed standoffs with screw connections that allow future installation of auxiliary boards.  The board is drilled along its edge and in each corner for mounting.  

Other board components include a single LED indicator with several LED displays, resistors and resistor network arrays, capacitors, a single push-button reset switch and diodes.  Most components are marked with reference designations.  It is also marked with the GE logo, with its id number, and also carries an alternate F31x identification number.
