Product Description

531X300CCHBDM3 --Control Board  

The 531X300CCHBDM3 is a large printed circuit board manufactured by General Electric.  The board functions as a Control Board. It is one of several of this version of board available in the 531X board series.  531X boards are designed to fit into several of GE’s general purpose drives, including the AC300. These drives have a number of industrial applications.  

The 531X300CCHBDM3 is drilled at the board corners.  It marked with the alternate F31X board number and with VA-4.  The board has the GE logo imprinted on its surface. Most components are listed with a reference designator next to it for identification purposes.  Some components also carry their original manufacturer numbers.

The 531X300CCHBDM3  has several dozen resistor network arrays.  It has eight potentiometers. The board uses metal film resistors and capacitors made from materials like polyester vinyl, aluminum electrolytic, and ceramic.  

Connectors on the surface of the 531X300CCHBDM3 include five male vertical pin cable connectors and two header connectors along the bottom of the board.  There is another male cable connector on the top edge of the board. The board also utilizes terminal pins. Terminal pins are labeled such things as -15V, +15V, +24V, -24V and +5V.  The board has eight standoffs inserted into its surface to accept screw-mounted auxiliary boards. Other components used on the 531X300CCHBDM3 include transistors, jumper switches, integrated circuits, LED indicators, and surface wiring.
