Product Description

The 531X196DFAACG1 is a PCB board component created by GE as part of the 531x series of boards.  Rather than being attached to a particular drive series, the 531x series of PCBs may be used in some general purpose drive systems manufactured by General Electric.  This includes the DC-300 drive. Your user guide or manual will help determine compatibility.

The 531X196DFAACG1 functions as a Digital Field Auxiliary board.  The PCB is populated by a number of components, including at its center a transformer component with four surface wires.  These wires (two red and two white,) connect to the board at points labeled R1, R2, W1, and W2. The board uses additional surface wiring to connect a capacitor and a metal film resistor, both located in the upper left corner.

The 531X196DFAACG1 is drilled in each corner of the board for mounting.  It has a single sixteen-pin header connector, along with five stab-on connectors.  The stab-on connectors are located in a single line parallel to the right edge. They are labeled VG(red,) VC (white,) VM (blue,) IP (red,) and IN (white.)  The board is marked with the code F31X196DFAAAG1.

Additional components on the 531X196DFAACG1’s surface include two potentiometers, four jumper switches, ceramic and electrolytic capacitors, metal film resistors, and four integrated circuits, including high-performance analog comparators, high-performance analog power bipolar transistors, and high-performance analog  operational amplifiers.
