531X186CPSAGG1--Commutation Power Supply Card

The 531X186CPSAGG1 is a board component fabricated by GE as part of their general purpose drive systems such as the AC-300 and the DC-300 drive.  

The 531X186CPSAGG1 functions as a Commutation Power Supply Card.  This is a slightly rectangular board with mounting holes in each corner and along the board edges.   The board is marked with multiple codes like VA-4, FR00/0 and its secondary F31x board number.

The 531X186CPSAGG1 has two lines of three transformers. Each of these transformers is paired with a two-pin header connector, a diode, a metal film resistor, and a carbon composite resistor.  There are five additional header connectors located elsewhere on the board, as well as more resistors.

The left edge of the 531X186CPSAGG1 is populated by nine stab-on connectors.  The bottom edge has an additional four of these connectors. The right edge of the board has three vertical pin cable connectors.  

Other components located on the surface of the 531X186CPSAGG1 include six wire-wound resistors that are marked 104x1230A068.  These alternate with silver Sprague axial capacitors. The board has an integrated circuit, a metal oxide varistor, and five jumper switches.  There are two charts printed on the board’s front surface that explains the jumper settings.
