About the 531X139APMAEM1
The 531X139APMAEM1 is a Micro-Application Card manufactured by General Electric for use within general purpose drive systems from GE, such as the AC300 or the DC300. Some older GE general purpose drives are now obsolete, but they were originally designed as powerful industrial systems with the flexibility to take on a wide variety of tasks. The 531X139APMAEM1 is designed with five relays. These are placed in a single line near the top board edge. They are marked RX1 through RX5. Near these components are three terminal strips. The terminal strips are either three-position or six-position components. The 531X139APMAEM1 also possesses:
- eight potentiometers
- over two dozen resistor network arrays
- metal film resistors
- ceramic-style capacitors
- numerous jumper switches
- over forty integrated circuits
ICs are marked with manufacturer part numbers that allow for identification of parts. There are also several transistors on the board surface. Connectors on the 531X139APMAEM1 include the previously mentioned terminal strips, two cable connectors (male) and four header connectors (male.) These connectors can be used to communicate with other boards or with off-board components. The board is marked with reference designators, with identification codes, with board numbers, and with the GE logo.
