The 531X125SNHAAG1 is a General Electric Snubber Board. This is a small, very simple circuit board with only a few mounted components.
Snubber boards like this one are used within GE systems like DC300 and AC300 drive systems to provide a short-term current path to suppress transient voltages and keep these short-term voltage spikes from causing damage to relays or switches.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
The 531X125SNHAAG1 is one of several snubber boards available within AX Control’s inventory. Since many of these boards are extremely similar to each other, please be sure to order the correct component for your particular application. This board includes:
- a single J1 wire jumper
- a single large axial capacitor
- a smaller capacitor
- a diode
- a single resistor
- two factory drilled holes that have been ringed with conductive material that is located within the center of the board
The 531X125SNHAAG1 carries its part ID as well as an alternative F31x part number. The board is marked “Test” in the lower right corner. It also carries an FR01/0 code along its upper edge. Refer to General Electric manuals and user guides for more information about these codes. Most components are marked with reference designations and may also carry individual part numbers. Use these part numbers to identify data sheets for components if more information is needed.
