Product Description

The GE Terminal Board Relay Card 531X111PSHAPG1 supplies the 5 V dc, 15 V dc, and 24 V dc current used by the drive. It also features the pulse transformer for the motor field circuitry. The GE Terminal Board Relay Card 531X111PSHAPG1 can be configured to meet the specific requirements of the drive by setting the jumpers and switches. The board comes from the factory with the jumpers and switches set to the factory default settings and you can inspect the defective board and note the settings of the jumpers and switches. Then, set the jumpers and switches on the new board to match the settings on the defective board.

The replacement board is sometimes a later version of the defective board. Each version contains design improvements, component changes, and functional updates. When you compare the boards they might have different looking components and have components in new locations. However, compatibility is assured through extensive testing and quality control.

In some cases a jumper or switch might be deleted from the version of the replacement board. Due to the extensive testing performed by the factory, the documentation that comes with the board will have a complete list of instructions for working through any problems caused by deleted jumpers or switches.

The board contains five jumpers and some of the jumpers are for factory use only and some are for customer use to configure the board. For example, JP1 is for factory use only and cannot be used to configure the board.
