This unit is a part of Cognex Visions’s series of advanced industrial cameras and scanners. These scanners are built within several series of units, each defined by a specific configuration or piece of hardware integrated into the unit. The IS2000-130C Mini is a part of Cognex’s miniature line of devices. This miniature series is designed to be mounted in harder to reach, smaller areas, given the decreased size. These units take up 68 percent less space than that of their larger counterparts.
The Mini line of devices are designed with numerous similar features as the other Cognex models. The full color display units, much like the IS2000-130C Mini here, are designed to include several advanced functions when it comes to image processing and rendering. The maximum acquisition rate is at 55 frames per second, and is able to process at twice the rate of the relative speed.
The imaging capabilities that the IS2000-130C Mini includes several location, inspection, and measurement and counting tools. This unit is able to process pattern recognition, identify edges and circles, and determine differences between alternate levels of brightness/contrast.
The dimensions of this model change between the two possible configurations of these units. The standard in-line configuration is 43.1 mm by 22.4 mm by 64 mm. The right angle configuration is 43.1 mm by 35.8 mm by 49.3 mm.
