IS2000-120 Mini
Cognex is one of the leading manufacturers of barcode scanners and industrial vision sensors. This company is responsible for the design, production and development of the In-Sight series of scanners. There are several subcategories and groups within the In-Sight series. This unit is one of the In-Sight 2000 Mini models. The IS2000-120 Mini is a barcode scanner and industrial sensor that is designed with a frame at least 70 percent smaller than a regular-sized camera module. This smaller frame allows for operators to be able to place and mount the IS2000-120 Mini into tighter spaces and at sharper angles.
The IS2000-120 Mini is designed with a classic Cognex aesthetic, featuring the standard primary yellow with black accents. The IS2000-120 Mini models come included with several components that this size of product features. There is the autofocus-capable liquid lens outfitted onto the module. This liquid lens is able to switch between two options of sizes: a 6.2 millimeter lens, and a 16 millimeter lens.
The IS2000-120 Mini includes the 1/3 inch CMOS (complementary metal/oxide semiconductor) Imager. This CMOS imager for these models render the images captured in monochrome.
The lighting affixed to this module is designed with a standard set of four modular LEDs. The standard coloring is red, however, infra-red, white, and blue LED lights are available options. These LEDs are also able to attach band pass and polarizing light filters.
