Product Description

Woodward ProAct/ProAct Plus Actuator and Driver series model 8235-370 is a P-Series II controller. When operating this model it will operate at an absolute maximum working pressure of 5.2 BAR.A. This model does not have an Integrated Throttle Body (ITB) or Integrated Speed Control (ISC) but is still mechanically the same as those that do. When operating the unit please make sure that the model is not reaching the maximum temperature, if the maximum temperature is reached then it risks an explosion occurring.

There are some errors that can occur when operating the 8235-370 model such as governor system faults. Errors regarding the governor system faults typically occur during installation, it is wise to carefully check all of the wiring connections, power supplies, and actuators before performing any types of adjustments. The throttle valve also has the potential to cause control problems if the valve was not removed during installation. Pressure regulators, ignition conditions, fuel supplies, and carburetors can present problems, which could potentially look like governor problems.

Another potential hazard with the 8235-370 is the temperature, sometimes the temperature can become too hot or too cold, so it is wise to use protective gear when handling the products in these types of situations.
