Product Description
The 8235-361 model was produced by Woodward as part of the ProAct and ProAct Plus series of Actuators and Drivers. This model is used with a PISC II actuator that requires a nominal power of 24 VDC and has a maximum power consumption of 125 watts. The nominal piping size used in this model is 135. This model is a PISC ITB (Integrated Throttle Body) indicates that it is a throttle valve with integrated electric actuators that are used for air/fuel for gaseous engines or throttle air.
There is mechanical travel allowed with the PISC II and 8235-361 models, the typical travel will be between seventy-three to seventy-seven degrees. Note that the weight of the PISC II model will be approximately eleven kilograms or around twenty-five pounds, as such when mounting it is required that there are brackets that can withstand both the weight of the actuator as well as the weight of the model itself which is around thirty-six pounds itself. When being mounted the 8235-361 model will be mounted on the valve flanges along with the PISC model II actuator.
Several manuals can be used when installing and operating the 8235-361 and PISC II actuators. The ProAct ISC Integrated Speed Control Actuator Models I through IV manual 26246 describes the uses of the PISC II models with their conjoining ProAct models including but not limited to installation and information required regarding the wiring of the models.
