MicroNet Digital Controller 5466-5025 is a High-Density Analog I/O Isolated Module. This module has twenty-four selectable inputs and eight outputs. The inputs on this module will range from zero to five volts or four to twenty milliamperes. The outputs are the same as the inputs but are also 600 Ohms. There are three different configuration types for a 24/8 Analog Smart Plus module such as this one. This module has an onboard processor that allows the input-output channels to be automatically calibrated. 

Insertion of this module will be in the card guide of the chosen chassis and plugs into the motherboard. The 5466-5025 has a specific coder version that it works with, typically this coder version will be 5.08 or a version later. The inputs and outputs of this device are accessible through the attached FTM. There are two 24/8 Analog FTMs along with two high-density analog/discrete cables. If the 5466-5025 module is using a 4-20 mA input signal a required 200 Ohm resistor is used and is located on the 24/8 Analog modules. 

Analog outputs are also important in regard to this module the monitors for the output source will return currents if faults are detected. If while operating a fault is detected on the 5466-5025 the GAP application will annunciate the fault as well as disable the channel and discontinue data within system calculations.
