Module 5466-5000 is one of the many speed sensors part of the MicroNet Digital Controller Series. With speed sensors, there are two different types of sensor inputs, Eddy and MPU, this specific unit is an MPU input speed sensor. This module will typically be used with MicroNet Plus modules with an AppManager service tool. There are no potentiometers on the module at all and thus the unit requires no calibration, when the module is being replaced the module will not require any adjustments so long as the same unit number is being used in the chassis. 

Several specifications come with the 5466-5000 module, one of which is the isolation voltage, the isolation voltage of this device is five hundred VRMS to the control common and earth ground with absolutely no galvanic isolations between the four channels on the sensor. There is a coder specification for this module which is coder version 4.06 or any later coder version. The compatibility of this device is backward compatibility, but when used as a backward compatible device it must be used with the 5464-658 unit. 

This module can be used in redundant or simplex systems when the 5466-5000 unit is used in a simplex-type system and is connected through a singular low-density analog cable to a singular analog input fault transition module (FTM). Please note that each speed input channel only can accept one MPU.
