Product Description

Module 5466-1115 is part of the MicroNet Digital Controller series. As part of the series, this module was designed as a High-Density Speed/Analog I/O Combo module. The Speed/Analog I/O combo modules have two different accuracy versions, this unit will operate as a standard accuracy unit primarily used with steam turbine markets. The unit can be used as a replacement for the 5466-253 and -316 models in systems where the actuation can be controlled separately. This unit can have four 4-20 mA outputs and twelve analog inputs based on the circuitry within the controller. 

While the 5466-1115 module does not have any potentiometers and thus does not require any calibration these features allow for the replacement of the module to be done easily. Rather than having to adjust the replacement unit as this does not require adjustment due to their lack of potentiometers. This module can be used with GAP programming. When using GAP programming and the GAP selectable inputs the application must be saved and the application must go through a restart to allow for software and hardware to initialize the new input setting. 

Another primary feature of the 5466-1115 module is its onboard processor. This onboard processor is used for the automatic calibration of the input and output channels. The analog inputs of the device will be used to incorporate the time-stamping feature which has a five-millisecond resolution for two high-set test points and two low-set points. 

When the 4-20 mA input signals are being used on this module it will use a 200-ohm across from the input which is located onboard the module. The input channels of the 5466-1115 unit can potentially power its own 4-20 mA transducer.
