MicroNet Digital Controller 5466-1037 is a MicroNet CPU5200L, PowerPC MPC5200 unit produced by Woodward Incorporated to be used as a simplex or redundant model. One of the key features of this model is the Motorola MPC5200 processor as well as 128 MB or DDR RAM. One of the reasons that this unit is so sought after is due to its ability to operate in both simplex or redundant control modes. If the unit is being operated in the redundant mode it is highly recommended that there is an FGPA unit, the FGPA unit allows for VMEbus slave/master capability. 

Another feature provided by the 5466-1037 model is the ability to have a real-time clock, the real-time clock on the unit is battery-powered and does not require the unit to be on to work. Unfortunately, if the battery dies it is not user-replaceable and will have to be replaced by a technician. While most modules need to be powered down or de-energized prior to removing or installing the unit, the MicroNet Plus chassis can be removed or installed when live.
