Product Description

Woodward model 5466-1001 is a power supply module part of the MicroNet Digital Controller series. There are two types of controllers, MicroNet Simplex and MicroNet-Plus, this specific unit is a MicroNet-Plus controller. When the controller has been connected to the chassis it will operate on a two-slot power supply at one-hundred-ten volts of actuating current or one-hundred twenty-five volts of direct current. This unit is also a safety integrity level (SIL) approved MicroNet Plus unit. 

As a power supply module, the 5466-1001 must have the power supply disconnected when being installed. When a new power supply unit is being installed the circuit board edges must be aligned in the card guides, when the motherboard and slot units make contact it means that the board has been connected properly. There are four LEDs on the front faceplate of this unit, an overtemperature LED, an input, and a power supply fault, as well as an OK LED. The LEDs will light up solid or flash when a fault has been detected.
