The easYgen-1400, manufactured and distributed by Woodward Inc, is part of the easYgen-1000 series of single-Genset controllers. These Automatic Mains Failure Controllers (AMF Controllers) are available in four versions, of which the easYgen-1400 is the smallest. This controller includes a large liquid crystal display, configurable I/Os, and electronic engine support. The display on the easYgen-1400 is 132 x 64 pixels. You should note that control part numbers 8440-2232 and 8440-2251 are also labeled as easYgen-1400 models.
The easYgen-1400 includes three digital input ports, six digital output ports, and four sensors. The module has an operating temperature of -25 to +70 degrees Celsius. It is typically used for single automation systems with mains and generators. The module offers a multilingual interface (French, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, and English) that can be set at the factory level. The hard screen of the LCD is made from scratch-resistant, high-wear acrylic.
The module can accept a wide power supply range of DC (8 to 35) V. This makes it suitable for different start battery voltage environments.
The easYgen-1400 has customizable settings such as the text/image on the start-up screen, the HMI status content screen (via drag and drop,) log-on wallpaper and display time, and maintenance function warnings and shutdowns can be set when maintenance time out.
