Product Description

Operator Interface Terminal G306M000 produced by Red Lion is a 5.7" Graphic Monochrome LCD Terminal with a touchscreen and QVGA display. The model can only be indoors and does not have any special features compared to other G3 series HMIs. Two of the port types available on the G306M000 HMI are RS232 ports, one is a COMMS port and the other is a PGM port. Only one of the ports is available for programming but both can be used for communicating with a programmable logic controller (PLC). Some of the potential communications that can be performed on this HMI are another Red Lion device or a PC of some type. The display on this HMI is a liquid crystal display (LCD) which will display many different texts and graphics. There is a white LED that helps light the display and can be dimmed when operating the G306M000 HMI in low-light conditions. Please note that there is a limited lifetime for the LEDs, the lifetime of the backlight LED will be based on how much time the display is at full power, the lifetime can be extended if the backlight is turned off when the model is not in use. 

The configuration of the G306M000 model can be stored on one of the memory types available on this model; the memory used to store the configuration is the non-volatile flash memory which is four Mbytes. There is a memory card associated with this model which is a CompactFlash Type II slot for Type I and II CompactFlash cards.
