Product Description

The 8030-ROM-131 is a Stepping Motor Controller Module Sy/Max. The inputs for this module are as follows. User-supplied voltage 5-24 V (V+), Manual/Auto Input (M/A), Input (B IN), Input (A IN), Clear Input (CLR), Jog CCW input (JCCW), Jog CW input (JCW), User supplied voltage 5-24 V (V+), Move in Progress output (MPRG), CCW Pulse output (CTEN), Pulse Output (RES), and Common (COM).

The maximum cable distance between the module and the stepping motor translation is 100 ft./30m at no more than 30pf (cable capacitance) per foot. The move length ranges from 0 to 99,999,999 pulses. The move rate (slew rate) ranges from 0 to 9,999 pulses per second. The pulse rate accuracy during a move is plus or minus 5% of value. The pulse rate accuracy during acceleration or deceleration is plus or minus 20% or theoretical rate.

The acceleration and deceleration time is 0 or within the range 50 to 2,000 msec. The time to calculate a move from the move table is 5msec. (max), 200 msec. is typical. The time to calculate a move from the ladder diagram is 100 msec. (max). The output pulse width accuracy is plus or minus 20% of selected (SW1) rate (20 usec. Or 5 usec.). The output pulse rise and fall times are 1 usec. Or less when driving a 0.003 ufd load at TTL output levels measured from 10% to 90% levels. The input and output voltage range is 5-24 VDC. The max. input current is 16mA per input.
