The 8030-RIM-123 is a High-Speed input module created by Sy/Max. The power requirement for this input module is 875 mA current draw from the Sy/Max power supply connected to the rack. The input impedance for the current input is 250 Ohms. The differential input is 10,000,000,000,000 Ohms, and the common-mode input is 10,000,000,000,000 Ohms. The module is auto-calibrated. The common-mode rejection ratio (CMR) is 84 dB DC to 60 Hz at 1K OHM source imbalance. The running light on the module indicates the digital logic circuitry is functioning properly. The ambient temperature rating is zero to sixty degrees Celsius. The 8030-RIM-123 has a range of five dip switches with a variety of input ranges and positions. The input ranges are plus or minus 10 VDC, plus or minus 5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, 4-20 mA. The resolution is 13.5 bits, 1 part in 10,000 (full-scale range in the storage register of 0-9999, in increments of 1). The worst-case conversion rate 2 ms for all 8 channels with input averaging =1. The under-range indication input is converted to -0001 for 1-5V range and 4-20 mA input range at signals less than 0.9 VDC and 3.6 mA respectively. Under-range inputs for all other unipolar and bipolar ranges are converted to 0001. The over-range indication is converted to 10,000. The open circuit indication is converted to -0001 in current mode only. The isolation is 300 V channel to ground (or analog input circuit to digital logic circuit) continuously applied at 1500VAC for 1 minute.
