The 8030-PS-10 module is part of the SY/MAX Class 8030 product family and is classified as a 64 I/O Capacity Module with 120VAC Input Power Supply. The 8030-PS-10 module was manufactured by Square D. The obsolescence of the 8030-PS-10 was announced in October of 1990.

The 8030-PS-10 module is a large rectangular black box. The device has many slots, with a capacity of up to 64 I/O devices. On the front of the device, there is an indicator light which will warn the user when the battery is low. In the middle of the front of the device, there is a small rectangular indentation. Toward the bottom of the front of the 8030-PS-10 module, there is text that reads, “CAUTION: REMOVE PLUG BEFORE REMOVING BATTERY TRAY,” in white.
