The 8030-HIM-101 Sy/Max PLC 8-function PLC Input module is designed to provide Input feed to register addresses like other I/O modules within the Sy/Max 8030 series. This is a rack-mounted I/O. Accessories for this unit including cables, power supplies, batteries, or software are typically not included with this unit.
The 8030-HIM-101 weighs approximately 0.95 pounds before the addition of external shipping materials. The unit is designed with an external protective case that slides into a standard rack slot in an 8030 system. The front of the unit is designed with eight LED indicators--one for each input on the device. Additionally, there is a terminal strip available on the front surface of the unit that will accept wiring. The unit has a current draw of 60 mA @ 5 VDC.
Eight Function I/O modules are designed to take up less space per I/O point than other types of I/O units in the 8030 series. The front terminal block can be removed for wiring. These I/O modules are most often used in HRK rack assemblies that offer mounting slots for a model 300 remote interface or processor. These racks typically hold eight of these modules or sixteen.
