Product Description

The 8030-DIM-101 is a Sy/Max 4-function 120VAC Deluxe Isolated Input Module designed to work in conjunction with a 4-function Deluxe Output module (8030-DOM-101) also available through AX Control inventory.   This is one of multiple 8030 modules designed to work together as part of the Sy/Max 8030 series of processors, power supplies, and I/O modules. 

The 8030-DIM-101 is mounted within a compatible rack and connected into place using mounting screws.  The unit must be placed into the proper slot to function properly.  

Deluxe I/Os like the 8030-DIM-101  have dual indicator lights for each output point.  This allows for quick identification and diagnosis of output malfunction.  The unit also has a front-accessible fuse, a blown fuse indicator light, and blown fuse reporting if this has been programmed to the processor.   When this output module is used with GRK isolated rack assemblies each output point will be electrically isolated from other output points, which allows field devices to be powered from different sources.  

The Sy/Max 8030 module system has specific parameters for the spacing of processor modules and I/O modules with limitations on how distant these can be from each other.  Please refer to these specifications before beginning your setup to ensure you are within machine specifications.   For additional information, please refer to data sheets or manuals from Square D Sy/max.
