Product Description

The 8030-CIM-101 is a Square D Sy/Max 8030 CIM-101 120VAC/DC Input module.  This module is designed to work in conjunction with an 8030 power supply.  The input module has a 30 mA current draw rating @ both 75% and 100% duty cycle.  A maximum of ten modules of different types can be operated from one power supply, but only when their total current draw doesn’t exceed the supply’s rating.  

The 8030-CIM-101  is typically mounted within a rack assembly.  The unit is designed with a front panel that has four individual sections, each with its own red LED indicator. This indicator is used as an on/off identifier for the I/O point.   The front panel is marked with the unit’s identification and with the Square D logo.  The rear of the unit is designed to plug directly into the rack system.  This I/O module offers standard 4-function input and output.  

The 8030-CIM-101 has 255 registers that are forceable.    These registers can be used for either internal I/O control relays or for external I/O addresses.  Other registers will depend on the hardware configuration and how register memory is assigned by the user.
