Product Description

The 8005-LNV-101 is a Schneider Electric Square-D Analog Input Module. This module was initially created as a part of the Class 8005 SY/MAX series.

The 8005-LNV-101 is a voltage input type of input module. It has 1 channel that requires 8 input points.  It has the ability to transform a 0-10 VDC signal into an 8-bit binary value. This module has a 20 kΩ input impedance. It has an 8-bit resolution. It has a total accuracy that is a maximum of +/-1% of the full scale. It has a maximum current draw of 5 mA and a maximum 2 scan time input response. This module needs an external power supply that can provide it with 24 VDC and a maximum current draw of 60 mA.

The 8005-LNV-101 is a small box that has air vents on the top of it that facilitates airflow to the internal circuitry of the module. On the front of the module is a terminal strip that has a total of 10 terminal screws. One terminal screw is labeled GND. Two are labeled (+) (-) 0-10 VDC. Five are labeled No Connection. The last two are labeled (+) (-) 24VDC In.  The bottom of this module is exposed, and the bottom of the circuit card is visible. There is an orange male 10-pin connector on the back that allows the user to plug in the module. There are two factory drilled holes on the top of the module that can be used to mount the module.
