The 8005-LNC-101 is a Single Channel 4-20mA Analog Input Module made by Square D and Schneider Electric for the Class 8005 SY/MAX series. This module is now a legacy model and may be difficult to locate. AX Control does try to keep it in stock as a new surplus or refurbished item.

The 8005-LNC-101 is a series A-1 10-input in 5mA internal module. This module has the ability to change to an 8-bit binary value from an analog signal of 0-10V or 4-20mA DC. It has a 250 ohms input impedance. It has 1 channel per module that requires 8 input points. It has a maximum input of 23 mA. It has a maximum internal current draw of 5mA. It has a maximum input response time of 2 scan time. It has a photocoupler 1500V RMS/1 minute isolation method. It uses an external power supply that requires 24 VDC (+/-10%) with a current draw of a maximum of 60mA. It has an 8-bit resolution with approximately 0.063 mV. It has a 10G shock resistance.

The 8005-LNC-101 is a relatively small module, measuring up to 4 1/8” long, 1 ½” tall and 4” thick. It has air vents on its faceplate and just below that is a terminal strip with 10 input connections. This module weighs right around 165 grams. This module is meant to be mounted onto a panel or wall. This module should only be mounted in an indoor environment and should be kept clear of corrosive materials. It should be operated in a non-condensing humidity of 30-95% RH.
