The 8005-DN-208 is a SY/MAX 24 VDC Source Input Module. It was originally created by Schneider Electric/Square-D but is no longer being supported by this company. It may be hard to find, but AX Control still tries to keep it as a refurbished or new surplus stock part.

The 8005-DN-208 is an 8 function SY/MAX Class 8005 DC input module. It has a total of 8 inputs that are optically isolated and totally compatible with NPN style output sensors. This is classified as a source type of input module. This unit can maintain an input voltage range of 10-30 VDCs. It has an internal draw that is equal to a maximum of 20 milliamps. It can maintain an input impedance of 2.3 k-ohms. This unit weighs right around 120 grams or 0.26 pounds. 

The 8005-DN-208 has 8 LED indicators that are matched to corresponding terminal screws on the module. The LEDs will glow when it senses that wires are connected to the terminal. There is a terminal screw on this module that is labeled NC and should not have any type of wiring going to it. Below the terminals are two air vents. On the top sides of the module are two mounting holes that can be used in conjunction with two screws to mount the module to a base. This module can be mounted to an expansion base, expansion power supply, or processor unit. Two modules can be mounted to one of these units at a time.
