The 3090-SCCT084 was created by Square D as a member of the 3090-SCCT series of 5 Amp Split Core Current Transformers.

The 3090-SCCT transformers are ideally used with other PowerLogic systems. These PowerLogic systems include the following: Power meters, circuit monitors, transducers, and many more instruments. The 3090-SCCT transformers are compatible with most PowerLogic series monitoring equipment and instruments.

The 3090-SCCT series of transformers has an insulation class of 600 VAC. Be advised, however, that you should not apply the 600 Volt Class current transformers to any form of circuit that has a phase to phase voltage that is greater than 600 Volts. However, you may do this if you have adequate insulation that is applied between the current transformers and the primary conductor. The rated current output is 5 Amps AC, the frequency range is 50/60 Hz, and the temperature range is -15 through 60 degrees celsius. The leads for the 3090-SCCT series of split core current transformers are 18 AWG, UL 1015 twisted pair, 1.8 m, 6 FT.

The 3090-SCCT series of transformers can be applied in many different situations, such as the following: Power sensitive processing, equipment monitoring, data logging, and energy and power management.
