The 3090-SCCT043 model was developed and manufactured by Square D as part of the PowerLogic 3090 series. The 3090-SCCT043 is described by the Square D as a Split Current Transformer.

The 3090 SCCT subseries, which the 3090-SCCT043 is in, is a series of grade 5 Amp split core current transformers that provide secondary amperage that is proportional to the primary (that is, the sensed) current. The 3090 SCCT transformers are ideal for use with the PowerLogic circuit monitors, transducers, power meters, and other instruments. In addition to that, the 3090 SCCT series provides a simple, cost effective way to transform electrical service amperes to a 0-5 Amp level, which is suitable with the monitoring equipment.

All of the 3090 SCCT transformers have an output of 5 Amps AC at rated current, a 50/60 Hz frequency range, a temperature range of -15 to 60 degrees celsius, a humidity range of 0 to 95 percent non-condensing, and an insulation class of 600 VAC. Please note that it is imperative that you do not apply 600V Class current transformers to circuits that have a phase to phase voltage that is higher than 600V, unless an adequate form of insulation is placed between the primary conductor and the current transformers.
