Product Description

The E03-2 is an enhanced Enercept Meter in the PowerLogic line by SquareD (Schneider Electric.) The E03-2 is an economical solution for energy metering applications. The E03-2 is designed with three interconnected split core CTs. One of these CTs has built-in communication and metering electronics. The E03-2 can deliver up to 26 parameters, including energy, power, volts, demand, amps, power factor and reactive power. The E03-2 may be used on both single-phase systems as well as on three-phase systems.

The E03-2 provides ANSI C12.1 metering accuracy. It is UL listed and cUL listed. The E03-2 is designed for simple, inexpensive "snap in" installation without the need for a separate meter enclosure. However, safety precautions must be observed during installation.

The E03-2 comes standard with Modbus RTU 2-wire protocols (RS-485.) It is compatible with other PowerLogic devices and can utilize the same communication network. Transferred data from the E03-2 may be shown in tabular or graphical format.

The E03-2 is designed with the following parts:

• Voltage leads (3)

• Mandatory fuse per NEC.

• Modbus RS-485 Connector

• Status-LED

• Address Selection Switches

• External CTs

• Neutral Lead

The Status LED will blink green when the E03-2 is working normally. If the LED is blinking slowly in red, wiring may be incorrect. If the LED is blinking quickly in red the CT's max current rating has been exceeded.

The E03-2 is rated 208-480 Vac line-to-line. 50/60 Hz frequency. 100 mA. Operating temperature range is 0 to +60 degrees Celsius (+32 to +140 degrees Fahrenheit) in 0-95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
