Product Description

The 3020-E01-2 is a PowerLogic Enhanced Enercept Meter manufactured by Square D/Schneider Electric. The 3020-E01-2 has three interconnected split-core CTs, including one with built-in communication and metering. The range for the 3020-E01-2 maxes out at 100 amperes.

The3020-E01-2 is designed for simple installation: snap the CTs into place, then connect voltage and communication lines to complete the installation.

The 3020-E01-2 has on-board Modbus RTU 2 wire (RS-485) protocols which are compatible with other PowerLogic communication networks and devices. These onboard communications allow for the transference of data to an E-Server, a PC, or through a network of other PowerLogic devices. Transferred data may be shown to the user in either graph or table form. Because of this data logging capability, the 3020-E01-2 is capable of historical trending and logging, alarming, and can be used for producing reports. The 3020-E01-2 can report on 26 parameters, including amps, volts, demand, power, energy, and power factor. The 3020-E01-2 may be used on both one- and three-phase systems.

The hardware of the 3020-E01-2 is as follows:

• 3 Voltage Leads and 1 Neutral Lead

• Mandatory Fuse Per NEC (rated 1/2 Amp 200 K AIC)

• A Modbus RS-485 Connector for communication

• Status LED that blinks green or red, fast or slow

• Address Selection Switches to facilitate the Modbus

• External CTs

It is important to note the 3020-E01-2 should not be installed where it will block ventilation openings for other modules, and that the arrangement of CTs within equipment should be considered to ensure the bending radius of conductors is not adversely affected.
