Product Description

The 3020-CM-200 is a PowerLogic circuit monitor manufactured by Square D (Schneider Electric.)  The 3020-CM-200 offers full instrumentation designed to integrate easily into existing facilities and processes and to work in conjunction with other PowerLogic devices.   The PowerLogic 3020-CM-200 can be used almost anywhere standard voltage and current transformers are used. The 3020-CM-200 also offers waveform capture as a standard capability.

The 3020-CM-200 accepts standard CT and PT inputs (5a and 120V ac)  The module has industry standard RS-422/RS-485 communications included, meaning it can be easily integrated into most new or existing networks. Examples of data available through communications include:

Instantaneous readings of

  • Frequency (23.00 to 65 Hz)

  • Temperature (-100 to +100 Celsius)

  • RMS current (0 to 9999 A or 0 to 999.9 A)

  • Current, Apparent rms (0 to 9999 A or 0 to 999.9 A)

  • RMS Voltage L-L (0 to 32,767 V)

  • RMS Voltage L-N (0 to 32,767 V)

  • Power factor

  • Real Power, 3-Phase total

  • Reactive Power 3-Phase total

  • Apparent Power, 3-Phase total

Demand readings of

  • Average Demand Current (0 to 9999 A or 0 to 999.9A)

  • Average Demand, Real Power

  • Predicted Demand, Real Power

  • Peak Demand, Real Power

  • Peak Demand Current

Energy Readings of

  • Energy, Accumulated

  • Reactive Energy, Accumulated

For instantaneous readings, running minimums and maximums are also stored.  The time and date are stored for all Peak Demand values.

The grounding of the 3020-CM-200 is usually done through the connection of its hardware to a grounded metal enclosure. If additional grounded is necessary, a separate ground wire can be connected to one of the 3020-CM-200's mounting studs.
