A number of fault codes help the user identify faults on the drive. HU is the code for the high DC bus voltage fault. This fault is caused by either high DC bus voltage or too-short deceleration time. In order to correct this fault, if the DC bus voltage is too high, check the input line voltage and add a transformer if necessary. If the deceleration time is too short, increase the deceleration time and install a DB option with resistors. IPL is the code for the input phase loss fault. This fault is caused by a voltage ripple on the DC bus that is due to a missing input phase or an imbalance between phases. In order to correct this fault, check all phases and verify that the drive is receiving the proper voltage. LU is the code for the low DC bus voltage fault. This fault is caused by either a too-low DC bus voltage and a too-long line dip, or by defective input rectifier diodes. In order to correct this fault, check the input voltage and the line fuses, and if necessary, add a transformer. If the DC bus voltage is incorrect due to defective diodes, replace the diode set.
